More often than not, there are many factors in the business industry that can affect the schedules of business events and meetings. The availability of the important individuals, key speakers on conventions, the business owner who initiated the meeting, or the clients whom the presence is needed, the change in venue and even the weather or climate condition in the area may affect the schedule of the event. Thus, more often than not, the schedule of your business travels changes.

When it comes to changing your flight reservation, two things are likely to happen: a flight change, or a cancel and rebook option. For minor flight changes such as a change in the time and date, airlines assist the travel in just changing the flight details by booking the passenger into the flight he prefers. When it comes to major flight changes or changes that may include the change in destination, airlines and traveler, the airlines would usually suggest the cancellation of the original reservation and then assists the traveler or the one making the reservation in booking a new flight.
For the cancel and rebook option, there are airlines that don’t allow refunds and issue flight or reservation credits instead. This means that instead of getting the money paid for the reservation, the passenger or the traveler will have a credit with the airlines on the amount of the ticket price, minus the cancellation fee and taxes, which he can use the next time he books a flight in the same airlines.
